11th Annual Lights, Camera and Fashion in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. – It’s Lights, Camera and Fashion, and all for a good cause.

The 11th annual Lights, Camera, Fashion event took place at the Carl Perkins Civic Center on Thursday evening.

This is a prom runway fashion show that benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

This year, 53 students model the dresses.

All winners will receive a scholarship to the college or university of their choice.

Officials say last year they raised more than $186,000.

And this year, they’ve already surpassed last year’s pre-show totals.

“We are just happy to see such a large crowd come to the Carl Perkins Civic Center on a night like this. We have lots of great entertainment. We have special guests we are honoring tonight who have been St. Jude patients,” said Clarenita Hamilton, an attendee.

The makers of the show would like to thank all of the sponsors for helping to make this possible.
