California lifestyle brand launches River Oaks on Airstream

As half of California migrates to Houston (we kidnap, we kidnap), more and more locals are decorating and dressing with a decidedly West Coast aesthetic. So now is the perfect time for a popular California brand to head to one of Houston’s fanciest malls for some fun in style.

Cali-based lifestyle brand Jenni kayne stops in the Tony River Oaks District ((4444 Westheimer Rd.)) to unload special gifts, exclusives and a personalized shopping experience. The brand places it – literally – in a refurbished 1956 Airstream.

Savvy shoppers can expect to find the latest in the Jenni Kayne spring collection, including the now cult fisherman’s sweaters (they’re huge in places like Big Sur, Central and NorCal), mules and clogs, and home decor items such as candles, pillows and blankets.

Those who stop by on weekends can expect special programming and activations, including:

Friday March 26, 10 am-6pm
The brand will distribute free flower bouquets from Composto Fiori, while Jenni Kayne rewards members will receive double points.

From Friday March 26 to Sunday March 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Customers can participate in the Jenni Kayne Egg Hunt for special gifts and rewards

Saturday March 27, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. and 4 p.m.-5 p.m.
Florist Composto Fiori to host live design events with demonstrations of flower arrangements

Fashionable and decorative Houstonians will recognize Jenni Kayne’s chic Californian minimalism. The brand has nine stores as well as collaborations with brands such as Pottery Barn, Lulu & Georgia and Parachute. Fans are also clamoring for the Rip & Tan brand’s lifestyle blog. Kayne herself is the author of the bestselling book Pacific Natural, which focuses on entertainment and includes a preface by Martha Stewart.

Jenni Kayne branded and remodeled homes, showcasing the brand’s aesthetic, can be found in Lake Arrowhead, California.
