Celebrity Cruises announced in a press release that it will host a reunion web event a year after its historic all-female crew sailed on March 8, 2020.
During the web event, which will be streamed on Facebook, Captain Kate McCue, America’s first female cruise ship captain, and Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, Celebrity Cruises’ first female CEO, “will reflect on sailing history, discuss the challenges that followed, share their stories of joy and sorrow and why it’s more important than ever to #choosetochallenge. ”
