FHU students elect Homecoming royalty

HENDERSON, Tenn. — A local college continues the Homecoming festivities with its Homecoming Court nominees.

On Tuesday, Freed-Hardeman University announced the reunion court for this Saturday.

Included in the court were four freshmen, a sophomore and a junior contestant.

There were also three senior nominees each for FHU King and Queen.

Senior nominee Kayley Wadlington says she is grateful to her peers for the nomination.

“I feel truly honored that my peers thought I was worthy, and I absolutely loved my time at Freed-Hardeman and I love this school,” Wadlington said. “It really is a huge honor to be able to represent him.”

The FHU Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned this Saturday at halftime of the women’s soccer match.
