Jessie Thompson, swiper accused of sex toys, has bad vibes at Vero Beach
VERO BEACH – A person accused of slipping purple sex toys may not pick up good vibrations after being arrested, according to an affidavit.
Jessie Ernest Thompson, 38, was jailed for theft after the alleged intimate object mess on November 14 in a CVS in Block 1700 of US 1.
The case began when a man later identified as Thompson fled with a purple box of condoms.
Vero Beach Police were told that Thompson emptied the box into his shirt and rushed into the bathroom. In the bathroom, however, the only thing that appeared was “the barcode of a purple personal massager”.
Thompson has been described as a white man with a black shirt and blue checkered shorts riding a bicycle.
Investigators spotted a man matching the description in Block 900 of 18th Place.
Thompson was found with “two purple vibrators (personal massagers)” valued at $ 35.49.
Thompson was taken to jail.
Rather than telling the police to go away, Thompson said he would speak to investigators.
He said someone had placed the purple pleasure devices near the bushes in the CVS area, and he decided to take them.
