Top 10 Weird Hotel Amenities You Could Actually Use
Toiletry kits and coffee facilities received the film. These hotels are distinguished by strange and wonderful amenities that will surprise you.
Travelodge Sydney Airport has just opened its doors with a few new features, including Australia’s first silent check-out.
For those early risers who need to get to the airport for an early morning flight, this check-out includes a poster where you can state your needs without saying a single word. Such as “I need to pay my bill”, “I need a taxi” and perhaps most important for those first few hours, “I need coffee”.
This original equipment made us think, what other strange hotel facilities are offered?
Here are our top ten:
10 weird hotel amenities you’ll want to use
1. Bacon scented alarm clock @ Travelodge Sydney Airport, Sydney
In addition to the silent departure, guests can choose to be awakened by the smell of bacon.
This idea was touted as an April Food Festival joke, but has since been made a reality. It’s a programmable clock from Sensorwake that triggers scents of bacon instead of an alarm for a “fragrant, enlightened and melodious wake-up call.”
Not a fan of bacon? No worries, the clock can also be programmed with the floating smell of coffee.
